01The short version

Leet Assistant is an offline assistant. Reminders, notes, an on-device AI, a password vault and a few other tools all run on your phone. There is no account, no server and no company database that your information passes through.

Read this part twice

Because nothing is stored with us, we cannot see, recover, reset or delete your data. If you lose your phone, forget your vault PIN or uninstall the app without a backup, the data is gone and nobody, including the developer, can bring it back. Keeping your phone secure and making backups is your job. Section 07 has the details.

This page is both our privacy policy and the terms on which the app is offered. By installing or using Leet Assistant you agree to it.

02What we collect

Nothing. The developer does not collect, receive or have access to your reminders, notes, messages, expenses, passwords, cards, health entries, photos or location. There is no analytics library, no crash-reporting service and no advertising SDK, and the app has never asked for your name or email.

Account requiredNo

Data sold or shared for marketingNever

If you write to us, for example by email or from the in-app feedback button, we receive what you choose to send (your email address and message) and use it only to reply and to improve the app.

03Where your data lives

Everything you enter, such as reminders, notes, chat history, expenses, habits and journal entries, is written to a private file on your own device, inside the app's own storage, which other apps cannot read.

Saved passwords and authenticator codes are held separately, encrypted with the Android Keystore, and stay encrypted even inside a backup file. Voice recognition, document scanning and the AI model that powers chat and summaries all run on the phone's own processor. The audio, images and text you give the assistant are not transmitted anywhere to be processed.

The vault also holds payment cards and UPI IDs if you choose to add them. They sit in the same encrypted vault as your passwords, are protected by your vault PIN, and are never included in search. To add a card you can type it, or take or pick a photo of it: the photo is read on the phone (text recognition, no internet) and the temporary camera picture is deleted right after. A copied card number, CVV or password is cleared from the clipboard after about 30 seconds.

If you use the optional Leet Browser app, it can ask Leet Assistant, on the same phone, to summarise or answer questions about a page you are viewing, or to save a ticket, bill or watch reminder from it. Only Leet Browser (checked by its signing key) can do this. The page text is processed by the on-device AI and is not stored or sent anywhere. Leet Browser may also keep one small snapshot of its own bookmarks and settings inside this app's store so that it is part of your encrypted backup; Leet Assistant never reads or runs it, and it never contains browsing history, cookies, passwords or private tabs.

If you turn on backup, the backup file is written to storage you choose. The app does not upload it anywhere on its own.

04Permissions, and why

Android requires an explicit permission before an app can use certain device features. Leet Assistant asks for each one only to power a specific tool you opted into, never as a blanket collection of data. You can refuse or withdraw any of them in Android settings; the related feature then stops working and the rest keeps working.

MicrophoneLets you speak a reminder or question. Audio is transcribed on-device and discarded; it is not recorded to a file or sent out.
Notification accessPowers reminders and reply drafts based on notifications you receive. Read locally, acted on locally. If "Only leet's notifications" is on (default, changeable in Settings), once the app has shown its own card for an OTP or a missed call, it dismisses the duplicate from the phone's SMS or dialer app. It never does this for chat apps.
CameraFor scanning documents, business cards, receipts and payment cards. Images are processed on-device and only kept if you choose to save them.
Location (including in the background)Used for two things, both only on your phone. (1) Arrival reminders and place automations you create yourself, for example a reminder when you reach the office, or Do Not Disturb when you get home. The app places a geofence around each place you save and must detect your arrival even when it is closed, so it asks for background ("Allow all the time") location for this. It is off by default, the app explains it before asking, and everything else works without it. (2) Ticket reminders: when you open the app and have already allowed location, it reads your last known position once to estimate how long the trip to a ticket's boarding point will take. For a train, flight or bus journey card it can also use your position every few minutes while you travel, to show how far along you are. The app keeps only your last known position (one point, overwritten each time) and a home spot and a work spot it learns on the device (home from night-time positions on two different days, work from weekday-daytime positions on three different days). It then asks whether to save them as places; nothing is saved unless you say yes. If you leave "Learn my routines" on, it also counts the days you switch Do Not Disturb on soon after arriving at a saved place (day numbers only) and may ask whether to do it for you. There is no location history, and location is never sent off the device or shared. In Settings > My places, "Forget my location & turn it off" erases all of this and stops it being saved.
ContactsUsed to address a message draft or save a scanned business card. Read at the moment you use that feature; not synced or exported.
Autofill serviceOnly active when you tap a login or checkout field yourself and choose to fill it from your vault, after your vault PIN. Covers passwords and, on payment forms, saved cards. The app also registers with Android's Credential Manager so it can appear in the "use saved password" sheet. It never fills a field automatically or silently.
Physical activityReads the phone's own step counter to show today's steps, in the app and, if you placed the widget, as an occasional line on it. It also uses activity recognition to tell when you are in a vehicle so those steps are excluded. Processed on the device; no history is sent anywhere.
Calendar (read only)Optional, off by default. If you turn on "Show my calendar events", the app reads event titles, times and which calendar they belong to, only when it builds your morning brief or night wrap. It never writes to your calendar. What it reads is not saved, backed up, uploaded or shared; only the switch and the calendars you ticked are stored.
Leet Browser linkOptional. Lets the separate Leet Browser app talk to this app on the same phone (page summaries, saving a ticket, bill or watch reminder, and the day card on its start page). Only Leet Browser, verified by its signing key, can connect. Nothing goes over the internet.
BluetoothSees devices you have already paired to power automations like "car connects, silence notifications". It does not scan for new devices.
Usage accessShows your own screen-time and app-usage figures inside the app and, if you placed the widget, as an occasional line on it. Stays on the device; a special Android permission you switch on yourself.
Background data transferLets the AI model download continue with the screen off. Only active while a download you started is running, and it stops when you pause it.
Do Not Disturb accessLets automations you set up (like face-down on a table) silence the phone. The app does not read or store notification content through this permission.
Exact alarmsSo reminders ring at the minute you set, not "whenever the phone gets around to it".

The app never sends a message, payment or action on your behalf without you tapping to confirm it first.

05Internet use

The app is built to work with the network off, and nothing in it reaches the internet on its own. There are two situations where it does, and you start both:

  • Downloading the on-device AI model the first time you enable AI features: a one-time file of about 2 GB from Hugging Face, after which the model runs fully offline. It starts only from a tap and warns you first on mobile data. Hugging Face sees the request the way any website sees a download (for example your IP address) and handles it under its own policy.
  • Restoring or exporting a backup to a location you choose, such as a folder you pick on your device.

Neither sends your personal content to the developer or to any analytics service. The app has no background sync, no telemetry and no update check of its own; the store you installed it from tells you when a new version is ready.

06Third parties

The app has no backend server, so there is no infrastructure of ours that your data could pass through. We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers, data brokers or other companies, because we never receive it.

The app runs on, and relies on, things we do not control: Android and your phone maker's software, Google Play services (for example geofencing and autofill), the app store you installed it from, Hugging Face (model download) and any app or website you open alongside it. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies, not this one, and we are not responsible for it.

07Your control and your duties

Because everything stays on your device, you hold the data directly:

  • Delete any reminder, note, message draft or entry at any time inside the app.
  • Export or create a backup whenever you want, and store it wherever you choose.
  • Uninstalling the app removes its on-device data along with it, unless you saved a backup elsewhere.
  • Lock the app with an app-lock, independent of your phone's own lock screen.
Your responsibility

You are responsible for your phone, its lock screen, your vault PIN, your backups and any backup password. A forgotten PIN or backup password cannot be reset or recovered by us, by design. Anyone who has your unlocked phone, or knows your PIN, can open what the app protects. Keep important information (passwords, card details, documents, medicine and bill dates) also somewhere else, and do not rely on the app as the only copy.

08AI, automation and reminders

The built-in AI and the text, ticket, bill, payment-card and calendar readers work from patterns and a small on-device model. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date: a misread amount, date, platform, card number or place is always possible. Check anything that matters before you act on it.

Not advice

Nothing the app shows or says is medical, legal, financial, tax, investment or safety advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional. Do not rely on it as the only safeguard for medicines, health, money, travel connections, deadlines or anything where a missed or wrong reminder could cause harm or loss.

Reminders, alarms, geofences, automations, Do Not Disturb, notifications and the home-screen widget depend on Android, your phone maker's battery and background-activity rules, GPS and network quality, and permissions you have granted. They may be late, missed or not fire at all, and we cannot guarantee otherwise.

09Provided "as is"

THE APP IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR DEVICE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

No security system is perfect. We use the protections Android provides (private app storage, the Keystore, signature checks) and describe them honestly, but we do not promise that the app is free of bugs or that it cannot be defeated, for example on a rooted, modified or malware-infected phone. We may change, pause or stop the app or any feature at any time.

10Limit of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE LOSS, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, MONEY, PROFIT, OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP. THIS INCLUDES LOSS CAUSED BY A MISSED OR LATE REMINDER, A WRONG AI OR READER RESULT, A LOST OR STOLEN PHONE, A FORGOTTEN PIN OR BACKUP PASSWORD, A DEVICE OR ANDROID FAULT, A THIRD-PARTY APP, WEBSITE OR SERVICE, OR AN ACT OF SOMEONE WHO GAINS ACCESS TO YOUR PHONE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP, WHICH IS ZERO IF IT WAS FREE.

You agree to use the app lawfully and at your own risk, to keep to the laws that apply to you (for example on recording, location and storing other people's details), and to hold the developer harmless from claims that arise from your own misuse of the app. Nothing here limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived, including consumer rights where they apply.

11Children

Leet Assistant is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age; everything stays local to the device it is installed on. A parent or guardian is responsible for how a child uses a phone that has the app.

12Governing law

This page is governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right you have to go elsewhere, the courts at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction over any dispute about it. Before going to court, please write to the contact below so we can try to sort it out. If any part of this page is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

13Changes and acceptance

If the app's data handling changes, for instance if a future feature needed to talk to a server, this page is updated first, with a new effective date at the top, before that feature ships. We may also revise the other parts of this page; the date at the top always shows the current version. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the updated page. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.

14Contact and grievances

Leet Assistant is built and published by an individual developer, not a company. The same person answers ordinary questions and formal grievances; there is no support queue in between.
